Clockwork Orange (1971)
After the release in the UK, the film sparked off a scandal and was blamed for several deaths and acts of violence. Stanley Kubrick asked Warner Bros. to stop the film distribution in the UK in 1974. It was not until 2000 when the film could be legally shown there.
